UK Sales Manager - Dairy
I am delighted to be working exclusively with this amazing family business which spans over 20 years supplying innovative products to the farmers that are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
I am looking for a sales manager to be based in the UK but who can commute throughout the UK and be in the office one day per week.
The company has big plans, to grow and develop their business in the dairy industry, increasing their turnover, maximising sales, and advising farmers and this starts with you.
This role also has the scope to handle some of their export business. This role is what you make of it, it’s autonomous and it will be your responsibility to develop and encourage the salespeople.
You will accompany them on farm, utilising your knowledge in the dairy industry selling the company’s cutting-edge solutions including silage inoculants and additives to lower ammonia in slurry, udder health and antimicrobial cleaning products offering a consultative approach to help farmers.
There is currently a team of 6 that you will manage, motivating, coaching, developing them and ensuring targets are met.

Requirements:
• Management skills and coaching and development skills of a sales team
• Understanding and working history in the dairy industry
• Working relationships with the dairy farmers in the UK
• Someone who can advise farmers and offer solutions for their hygiene and environmentally sound products
• A consultative selling approach to customers
• Someone who understands and enforces sustainability
