Credit Control Team Leader
Role: Permanent
Hours: 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday Full time
Salary Negotiable DOE

Our trusted client is seeking a Credit Control Team Leader to work out of their plush new offices in Taunton. Working alongside the current Credit Control Team Leader and reporting into the Finance Transactional Service Manager you will be responsible for the day to day managing of the Credit Control team ensuring that all company policies and procedures pertaining to these functions are followed and updated as required.

Key Duties:

  • To provide daily supervision to the Credit Control Team, helping them to resolve escalated Customer collection issues. 
  • To assist in driving the performance of the Credit Control Team and identify and maintain KPI information.
  • Ongoing communication (verbally and written) to Customer Services, regarding outstanding queries impacting collection targets.
  • To identify required changes in policies, procedures and processes in line with changing business needs and best practice. 
  • Ensure the credit limits recommended by the Credit Control Teams are reviewed, using credit checking agencies to approve credit account applications and review existing credit limits.
  • To manage the Credit Control team. This includes ensuring that the Team’s development and training needs are addressed performance is monitored through regular team meetings, 1-2-1’s and performance reviews, handling poor performance and if necessary, referrals to Occupational Health.
  • Ensure the credit limits recommended by the Credit Control Teams are reviewed, using credit checking agencies to approve credit account applications and review existing credit limits.
