Our client who are a growing well established company based in Bridgwater have a vacancy for an experienced scheduler to join them on a permanent basis.

Scheduling of Service Technician’s workload using logic and mapping tools
o Schedule all reactive and planned works to appropriate Technician, paying particular attention to Customer and Technician locations, expertise, qualifications and response targets.

o Ensuring the Technician day is optimised to drive maximum productivity.

o Ensure that any job that is marked as incomplete is followed up and reallocated. Notifying the Service Support Manager if this is not possible with the SLA specification

o Monitor Technician’s travel, work activity and respond to issues accordingly.

o Ensure that all jobs are completed with the required response times and notify the service Support manager if they are not.

Process Sales Orders accurately by telephone, fax and e-mail, in accordance with the Company’s processes.
o Data handling, entry and export through the company’s Service Management System.

o Origination - Enter all enquiries accurately with full Customer requirements and details, pass information to relevant next step or appropriate contact.

o Manage internal processes & customer forecasts as required

o Accurately maintain specification documents. As required.

o Respond to and where possible resolve Customer Service issues, resolve or escalate problems to the correct level or appropriate contact.

Dealing with a high volume of telephone calls and scheduling / planning of the diary of various engineers across all areas of the UK.

In addition to this, the successful candidate should be adept at working in a fast paced environment with excellent ability to multi-task.

Communication with both engineers and clients is essential

Applicants will have the following:

Excellent written & verbal communication skills with a passion for customer service.
Good experience with Word, Excel
Ability to problem solve, multi task and think on your feet is also essential.
Experience working as a scheduler
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with half an hour for lunch.

Salary £21k to £24k, dependent on experience.
