Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting a leading East Midlands based contractors in their search for a Projects Administrator.

Our clients are specialist Flooring contractors and carry out works in Commercial premises throughout the UK on very much a repeat business basis as they reap the rewards of their customer and quality focused installation services. They have a great reputation for the levels of service and quality that they can offer and are now seeking additional team members to help with their planned growth throughout 2018, they are a well established Contractor with a longstanding reputation for quality installations, this is a great time to get on board as our clients believe in developing their senior managers from within their ranks.

Briefly the duties of the Contracts Administrator are as follows –
• Quantifying for various floor coverings, accessories and floor preparation i.e. carpet, LVT, etc using technical drawings.
• Ordering materials, monitoring and coordinating deliveries.
• Preparing cutting plans for carpet, vinyl, safety flooring, using technical drawings.
• Liaising with site managers and fitters with regards to installation and Customer Liaison.
• Site Visits for Quality and Customer Care.
• Keeping a detailed log of all remedial issues, contacting customers to discuss and book remedial works.
• Day to day administrative duties.

We are therefore seeking an experienced Flooring professional who can carry out the above duties In a timely and efficient manner, great interpersonal and communication skills will be required as you will be a real fulcrum in the operation dealing with both internal and external staffing to deliver a Fantastic and Customer orientated service for our clients Customer base.

This particular role will be within the new build residential division so ideally you will have some experience of the fast moving, Client focused operations required within the Housebuilder market.

The ideal Qualities we are seeking for this role are:
• You will be from a Flooring related background or will be a recent graduate with a Construction related qualification.
• You will be confident with IT, Office products such as Excel in particular and ideally some knowledge of quantification software such as Callidus.
• You will have excellent Presentation and Interpersonal skills as this role will involve a good deal of Client and supplier interaction both over the telephone and face to face.
• You will be keen to learn and develop your career, learning as you work.
• A Driving License will be required for carrying out Site Visits, there are pool Vans available for doing such so your own car will not be needed.
