Fulham | Permanent, full-time| £25,000 - £40,000 per annum (Negotiable Basic + Commission )
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting our clients, an Independent Carpet and Flooring Retailer with Stores across South West London in their search for an Experienced Estimator to help with Sales and the day to day running of the Store.
Truly an Independent, family run operation, our clients have been running successfully for over 40 years and are now onto Act Two of their story having recently been bought by a member of staff with many years’ service and knowledge of the business to bring it onto its next stage of development.

Our Client is a South London based independent chain of specialist flooring retailers established since 1983.
All of their staff have many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge of all types of carpets & vinyl flooring and the installation processes required for a premium installation.
They work with customers designers, architects or tradesmen to ensure a trouble free installation and their experienced installers are happy to carry out the removal of any existing floor coverings and the removal and replacement of most furniture.
For many years they have worked with designers and letting agents, providing carpet and flooring for their clients whilst maintaining their reputation with outstanding service and quality

Job description
They are expanding and are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and committed Flooring Sales Estimator who is passionate about customer experience.
This a full time, customer-centric role with numerous modes of communication, such as face to face, inbound / outbound email and phone.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced, customer facing environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Resolve customer queries, via email and phone, in a helpful, and professional manner.
• Be a product expert in all carpet, vinyl and luxury vinyl tile ranges.
• Visit customer homes in a timely manner, measure their respective rooms and work out the customers estimate using an inhouse database.
• Build strong relationships with all customers, suppliers, fitting team and sales team.
• Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the limits, and follow up to ensure resolution of any issues and closing off sales.
• Follow standard procedures for escalations of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Based in Fulham with possibility of also covering Sheen Store Estimates.
What we're looking for:
• Experience in a Showroom Sales, Estimating and Planning.
• Passionate about customer service and providing an exceptional experience.
• A team player with a great work ethic and a customer-centric mindset.
• Friendly, clear and engaging communication, both written and spoken.
• Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure you meet your goals and deadlines.
• A Sales Professional, motivated and Hungry to close deals and earn great Commission!
• Driving License and own vehicle for travelling to showroom, a pool vehicle is available to travel to site surveys.
Other:
• 5 day working week with set week day off.
• Ongoing training.
• Christmas closure.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year (Basic c £30-35k).
