Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leader in the Fit Out / Strip Out and Flooring markets in London and the South East as well as the wider UK in their search for an additional QS / Commercial Manager to help win new business and Tenders within their Strip Out and Decoration Divisions.

The Company:

Our client is a group of companies that tenders for large strip out / fit out projects in London and across the UK.

They Offer a one stop shop for the Fit Out sector with Strip Out, Decoration and Flooring Packages offered.

They are currently seeking Estimators for their Strip Out and Decoration offerings.

This offers an excellent opportunity to join a leading company that is currently winning many large contracts, and to build a key role moving forward.

We are assisting them in their search for Estimators in their Strip Out and Decoration Divisions.

Commercial Manager - Roles and Responsibilities
 
·       Assume full control and responsibility of delivery team
 
·       Receive handover from pre-contracts team upon securing a project
 
·       Ensure you are familiar with the project due for commencement
·        
·       Ensure projects team have starter pack
 
·       Manage the projects from a commercial perspective i.e. ensure all variations are being relayed to the client in a timely manner and in the appropriate format
 
·       Populate variation account
 
·       Submit valuations (as per schedule where applicable) and secure payment certs
 
·       Settle final accounts and submit to internal accounts for invoicing
 
·       Track invoiced works on Sales Control for timely payment within agreed terms
 
·       Ensure payments received are in accordance with invoice
 
·       Monitor programme v budget on projects – understanding offset of variations
 
·       Monitor margins on projects via CVR document
 
·       Fortnightly review with MD outlining project performance, financial performance and key lessons learned
 
·       Monitor and interact with Sales Team in relation to pipeline of projects
