Are you an experienced Parts Advisor who wants to be part of a privately owned main dealership?
Change Recruitment are currently working with a Main Dealership in Taunton which is lead by a fantastic Dealer Principal who is focused on Customer Service and Retention to manage the recruitment of a Parts Advisor to enhance their team.
You will be responsible for supporting the Service Technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process, preparing parts for incoming jobs, ordering parts as and when required, goods in, return to suppliers, allocating parts to correct locations, stock control, keeping parts area clean and tidy as well as supporting with Front Counter Sales to both walk in and trade.
The successful applicant will have a minimum 12 months automotive parts experience, ideally working within a main dealership. Ideally you will have experience of manufacturer standards and warranty return procedures.
You will need excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers, suppliers and staff as well as strong problem-solving skills. In addition, you will need to be good with administration, diary management and following up within agreed timeframes.
Our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including full IMI backed qualifications.
Working hours are 08:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings 08:00 – 12:30.
